thank God

I finally have internet access. I only gone without the internet for a day. Boy that did not settle with my body too well.

So I finished Ask for It on friday, another thank God moment. I still did not buy scandal in spring, my body hates that..booo.
I am reading two books, lets see if I can do this. Angels and Demons by Dan brown and the Naked Marquis by Sally MacKenzie. Yea both so far are pretty damn good.
But I better watch what I say because the last two books I had the same conclusion and look what happened.

So off to the review of Ask for it. I do not like reviewing because for me, i do not like reading reviews if I want to read the book. Some people explain a lil too far to where they explain the whole damn book. Also to the fact I would like to know NOTHING about the book. I want the book to tell me while I read it. Let the book the me that she is getting abducted not you. But ok. People like those full length reviews. Lets see if I can do this.

Author: Sylvia Day
Synopsis: (you ready)

From back of book:

England, 1770. Beneath the silk and lace of London society lies a secret, elite organization of spies. Protecting the Crown from its enemies is hazardous, but for Marcus Ashford, protecting his heart from an unyielding passion is the far greater peril…

A MATTER OF DANGEROUS INTRIGUE…

As an agent to the Crown, Marcus Ashford, the Earl of Westfield, has fought numerous sword fights, been shot twice, and dodged more than any man’s fair share of cannon fire. And yet nothing excites him more than the primitive hunger his former fiancé, Elizabeth, arouses. Years ago, she’d jilted him for the boyishly charming Lord Hawthorne. But now, the elegant widow is his to defend, and he will do so while tending to her other, more carnal needs, showing her the depth of a real man’s desire…

…AND UNDENIABLE PLEASURE

Dangerous secrets led to the murder of Lady Hawthorne’s husband. Secrets she now holds in a diary many would kill to obtain. But to entrust herself to the protection of the most seductive man she’s ever known? Outrageous. Unthinkable. Irresistible. For it was Marcus’s strong passions and burning desire that frightened her into abandoning him years ago—and her answering craving has never waned. Now, he means to be at her service, in every sense. And perhaps the only sensible course isn’t to resist temptation, but to surrender to it completely…

Sounds pretty spirffy but all this damn drama and shit is about a journal that means aboslutely NOTHING.

WHAT THE HELL!?!?!?ijfoeirjsfoiejaoifjeaiofjoawef

no joke. Someone says that in the end.

So the hero and heroine knew each other since they were really young (kinda like a valentine wedding) and they locked googly eyes at each other. It took off from there. They had sex..and more sex and plan to get married. She finds out the guy is in some sort of agency (kinda like the CIA for the King) and she goes "oh hells no" with him and breaks it off. Not only just breaks it off but runs and elopes with another man.
The other man dies but before he does he makes a journal full of codes and weird lettering that no one and decipher.
This agency wants that journal and the heroine, Elizabeth, somehow doesn't want to (at which to this point I do not see why....)
The hero, Marcus, is finally relieved he is able to woo Elizabeth back into his bed, and he does on so many levels. They fight for absolutely no reason.
UGH. This book had a plot but it was hard to follow.
I did not like this book at all. Too much sex, can you believe it?
I do not like even talking about this book. I had to FORCE myself to finish this book.
The only thing I liked about this book is the side character, Christopher St.John. You heard of him from my earlier post. Sylvia said he's book comes out in January. YAY.
He was soo hot. OMG. That kept me reading..st john..st john..st john. Ridiculous. A SIDE character. Idiocy.

Theres my somewat review. I wonder if I have my recept. This book was fourteen dollars. FOURTEEN. No shit.

Star: i'll give it two.

But anyways. I got my hair cut and its really short..aww.
Went out with the girls yesterday. Watched John Tucker must die, which was kick ass, and ate dinner. Then we went to the pool hall and I kicked ass.
Saw a couple almost about to fuck on a pool table..couldn't get their hands off each other..
*shakes head*'
They left in a real hurry and the next thing I said was...i bet they left for a quick fuck.
No doubt that is what they did. LOL. Crazy people..if only girls like me can get some dick..if only.

So much love..

That was a good review. It really let me know how you felt about the book. LOL

I enjoyed Angels and Demons, I think more than the DaVinci Code. All the art stuff was great.

Sound like you had a wild time at the pool hall. hehehe

Just wanted to mention that sometimes full length reviews are helpful. Sometimes I find them helpful when I'm really not sure if I want to buy a book; if I can't tell by its blurb if it'd be something I'm interested in. That's when a full length review comes in handy because it gives me a very good idea of what the novel is about and whether or not the events that unfold would be something of interest to me.

Anyway, I like your reviews. There're always very fun to read but only do them if you want to. No one will get 'cha for not writing them. ;)

Dude that was the funniest review I've read in the last month, you so rock!

I'd only want to read this to find out how sexy your Christopher St. John is...hehe.

I went to a bar last night on Pier Ave in Hermosa Beach and dude, its great fun to people watch at a bar, the drunkies are effing hilarious!

But, I must know...what kind of girl are you? (this is in reference to your comment, if only girls like me can get some dick..)

..if that's you in the profile pic, I think you're pretty!
